I have a Lalique plate that I found at a flea market years ago so was interested in a BBC programme about Lalique's designs. I was expecting more glass but it focussed on his jewellery & I was blown away! Utterly stunning. I love the dragonflies & snakes in particular.

That was exciting to find a piece by Lalique in a flea market! One of those artists people will remember for centuries...
Glass sculpture is not an easy technique... Not many people can even attempt to make anything close to his designs. Many tried... many failed :)
