The enamel work is exquisite, even on the inside of the ring. It's hard to believe it's been around for so long, it's very art deco..
Everything about this ring impresses me. I have not seen such cuts on the diamonds before!
The ring looks like mixture of vibrant Persian or Egyptian designs with the edginess of art deco. The diamond cuts are most certainly very unique. Though I have seen such diamond cuts on Fascinating Diamonds website. The enamel work is one of a kind.
This cut is usual for antique jewellery. Nobody does it now unless for a specific reason like a custom order or one-of-a-kind piece. The brilliant cut has been already invented when the ring was made, but probably not widely used yet.
