I have 3 of these rubies in zoisite. They have a funny shape. It was not exactly easy to make the settings for them (yes, I am half way there with my pre-made settings!) However I am very happy with the result. Now I just need to finish this set with those elegant Art Nouveau flowers (I think they are flowers!)
Just looking at the picture... That ruby does not look red, really... and zoisite does not really look green... The picture is not as good as I thought it was :) Oh, well... If you would like to look at the real colors of the stone, look at a few samples in google (there are some really fantastic carved stones there I would not know about if my picture was not so poor that I had to go to the Google! ;)

Pretty stone! Even if the picture is not very representative. It still looks beautiful in that setting you created.
I love rubies very much and find red to be a stone I'm drawn to.
Pretty! The setting almost looks like part of the sketch, it's a cool effect.
