Silver locket with blue topaz

I knew that this order was coming a couple of months ahead. We were just waiting for this nice big blue topaz. It was a challenging job, but very exciting!

The customer did not want the high stone to raise above the surface too much. This is why the top part of the locket is so thick (hollow formed). It hides the bottom of the stone.

Dancing pendant

I will never forget story about "My crazy pendant" that has become an inside joke in our family. Whenever I make something unusual, my husband says: "You will never sell it!"

I always ask him: "What would you like to eat this time? Your shirt? or maybe your boots?"

This is one of those pieces. It is made of copper, silver and gem stones: black onyx, garnets, pearl, iolite and citrines.

Lemon quartz pendant

The pendant is made of silver and copper. The stone is sitting in a 12-claw basket. This is the biggest basket I have ever constructed of wire so far. It was a fun project.

I keep working on my one-of-a-kind gallery. This is one of my favourite designs - deers inspired by a 50 years old Russian book for wood carvers. The airy design around it is made with silver and brass wire.

To me the piece looks vintage and modern at the same time. The mixture of styles is just what I like in jewellery.

Brass and silver pendant with smoky quartz

I got to finish this baby today! Just what I really enjoy making: one piece made with as many different techniques as I can only imagine!

The silver piece is cast, the basket for the stone is built of silver wire, the background is pierced and enameled, two background brass pieces are riveted.
