So very true. I teach children & adults with Intellectual Disability and am constantly amazed and humbled by their abilities. It is society that 'disables' them.

I had one my University teacher saying that his little nephew had more knowledge than him in one area... dinosaurs! This is a fun illustration of the quote, but still true :)

Thank you, Katie!

I know that autistic kids/people always have a talent.. good at learning languages or at programming...

Exactly. Genius though is more than merely being academic or learned. To me it's deeper and perhaps more basic than that. Like the ability to bring a smile to someone's face, to light up a room with their presence ...

This is a talent too, for sure! Just today a few hours ago I have come across this picture in Instagram https://instagram.com/p/02nUTFBQZg/?taken-by=instagram
It is not exactly what you are saying, I understand, but pretty close :) It for sure illustrates the quote!

I see the link did not get included. This is the story: "
It all started with a dream to become a trapeze artist. “Well, that didn’t go well. Every time I would come out, people would laugh and I would never be able to get on the trapeze,” says Gaby Munoz (@chulatheclown), who lives in Mexico City. “At first, it was frustrating, but then I understood the great feeling I had by making others laugh."

This is a really great quote. Fish might not be able to climb trees, but they have many different abilities that others do not.

Fish is a great example! After all, Einstein was a smart person :)
