My Gems. Sonora Dendritic Rhyolite Cabochon

Thursday, May 15, 2014

Sonora Dendritic Rhyolites are often very interesting as they have fantastic pattern through the stone. This is one of the stones that I really appreciate and can always convince myself that I need "one more" any time :)
The second stone is pietersite.

I do not use this wire leaf design a lot, but I do love it very much. While this design has not been made (possibly, yet), I have found a few designs that I had made already. Here they are:

The stone is a custom cut petrified (peanut) wood cabochon. The stone is rather rare, so if you are looking for a piece of jewellery that is not common, it is still for sale in my etsy shop.

This is an unpolished natural quartz crystal bead. Yes, it is drilled (I know it is important for some people).

Long silver earrings with green chalcedony. They are also available in my etsy shop.

I think, this piece was actually the very first one when I used this leaf design. It was a custom made pendant from awhile ago (as you can see the terrible picture from when I could not take a good photo to save my life :)
